1 · First work of the day
Consecrate yourself to God this morning
Take me, O Lord, as wholly Thine. I lay all my plans at Thy feet. Use me today in Thy service. Abide with me, and let all my work be wrought in Thee.
This is a daily matter. There may be no ecstasy of feeling, but an abiding, peaceful trust.

The Desire of Ages · ch. 52
The Divine Shepherd
John 10:11
“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”
- Take the scene point by point. What do you see?
- Let the imagination grasp this scene. What is Jesus doing here for you?
- As you dwell on His sacrifice, how is your love and confidence quickened?
These prompts follow The Desire of Ages, p. 83. Prayer is to God, not to the screen.
3 · Prayer
Open your heart to God
Keep your wants, your joys, your sorrows, your cares, and your fears before God. You cannot weary Him.
God, cleanse my heart, restore what I damaged, and guide me toward new choices.
Your prayer rests in silence. He hears you.
For someone in particular
Why not plead with God for the salvation of some special one?
