Terms and conditions
Last updated: August 13, 2026
These Terms govern your use of Friends of Hope / Amigos de Esperanza (the “App”) at amigosdeesperanza.global. By using the App you accept these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the service.
1. Who we are
Amigos de Esperanza is a Christian hope experience: video, audio, Bible, devotionals, a spiritual path, prayer, and companionship.
We operate the site and related services under the Amigos de Esperanza brand.
2. Use of the service
You may explore much of the content without creating an account.
You agree to use the App lawfully, respectfully, and in line with these Terms.
You must not attempt to breach security, abuse APIs, disrupt other users, or use the service for spam, fraud, or illegal content.
3. Accounts and Google Sign-In
You may sign in with Google or create a basic profile.
By continuing with Google, you authorize us to receive basic Google account data (such as name, email, and profile photo) to authenticate you and personalize your experience.
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping credentials confidential if you protect the account with a password.
4. Content and intellectual property
The App’s design, text, trademarks, and software belong to us or are used under license.
Third-party audiovisual content (for example YouTube) remains subject to its owners’ and platforms’ terms.
Do not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit our materials without permission.
5. Prayer, companionship, and spiritual content
The App offers spiritual support in a broad sense; it does not replace medical, psychological, legal, or emergency advice.
If you are in crisis or danger, contact local emergency services or professionals.
Prayer requests and conversations may be processed to provide companionship and improve the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
We will update these Terms when needed; the “last updated” date shows the current version.
Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
7. Limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, data loss, service interruptions, or decisions made solely based on the App’s spiritual content.
8. Links and third-party services
The App may integrate or link to third-party services (Google, YouTube, Spotify, and others).
Their use is also governed by those parties’ terms and policies.
We do not control and do not fully assume responsibility for external sites or services.
9. Contact and governing law
For questions about these Terms, email soporte@amigosdeesperanza.global.
Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, these Terms are interpreted in good faith under the laws applicable to the service operator.
